Forget Me Not

Forget me not from the shadows of loneliness,

In times of sorrow and distress,

In times of my problems and hates,

And at the moment when my heart breaks.

Everything will end and fall,

Hoping you catch me when I fall,

But you departed and never told,

Yet My heart needs you and still holds.

Holding onto our memories, we can never return,

Trying to look for someone to listen,

To my stories and feeling that were ever young,

I am keeping them waiting for you to come.

Forget me, not even at the point of death,

For my love in death does not end,

We may in time and space depart,

I hope our memories will never be apart.

How can I love someone else?

If I can’t ever forget your face,

It is better leaving you while loving me,

Then staying with you without knowing me.

All I want is to love you,

All I need is to be with you,

I am holding out your hands tight.

I know I will be safe until the night.

All I want is to say sorry,

I feel the pain all kept and heavy,

For pushing you away from me,

For making myself away from you.

I want to tell you everything,

I wished I can go back from the beginning,

So that we could start all over again,

Despite we ended up being broken.

How I wished it never happened,

From knowing you and being fallen,

The more I’m far away from you,

The more I felt the pain from loving you.

Is it a sin to love you?

Will it be a sin to love me back?

One thing I am sure of,

That loving you will not bring you back.

We may not be together in this life,

You may not be in love this time,

In the next life, we may be together,

In Heaven, I hope we will stay forever.

How can I forget someone like you?

If in everything I do, I remember you,

You might be just someone else,

But with you, I don’t need other else.

How painful for someone to be forgotten,

But pain is nothing for me who loves you without any in return,

For a love that is real requires sacrifice,

Requires faith, understanding, and trust.
