I Choose !/?

I promised to stay the same,

I chose life over death,

love over hate,

I chose to remember than to forget.

I promised to stay despite the pain,

I chose to give time and space,

I chose distance than closeness,

I chose to heal than brokenness.

I promised to stay as a friend,

I chose knowledge over ignorance,

I chose emotions than being numb,

I chose to love than nothing at all.

I promised to stay and believe,

I chose understanding over judgment,

to accept than to reject,

I chose second chance over regrets,

I vowed to stay and be faithful.

I chose to be honest in my feelings,

To be real and not to pretend,

I chose to say words than keeping them.

I promised to stay until the end,

I chose to get old than to die young,

To be happy than being lonely,

I chose to give meaning to my life than wasting it.

I promised to stay and hope,

I chose to cope up than to defend,

To listen than talking,

I chose reality over my dreams.

I promised to stay and love,

I chose this vocation over others,

I chose God and heed His voice,

I chose to love Him as religious.

I chose to start all over again.
