I Just Can't But I Have To

I can't stop my life when I want,

I just can’t forget everything when I’m drunk,

I just can’t live my life full of lies,

I just can’t let my feelings fly.

I just can’t let go of everything and push them away,

I can't sleep the whole night and day,

I just can’t cut all the communications,

I just can’t ignore my emotions.

I can’t blind myself from the reality,

Don't drown me with misery,

I just can’t close my eyes and hold the pain,

I just can’t point anyone and blame.

For I must stay alive and go back to normal,

Continue loving and stay as relational,

For the truth always sets one free,

Own the thoughts, don’t let them flee.

Hold on and keep them, for they all have stories,

Whether good or bad, they will remain as memories,

Everything happens as part of God’s will.

I need to embrace the pain and accept it with my will.

Love is blind if we choose to,

Love is a choice, but don’t let it go,

Open one’s eye to see the reality,

Every emotion needs responsibility.
