The Glimpse of Bliss

You called me unexpectedly,

I smiled, I was so happy,

Showing how I love thee,

Despite we’re not meant to be.

I can’t wait for your voice,

Your laughter and words,

How you asked me “how am I,”

The concern I was longing to reply.

Yet there were also doubts,

That hindered my smiles,

Did you really miss me?

Do you also love me?

You called me unexpectedly,

I smiled, I was so happy,

Showing how I love thee,

Despite we’re not meant to be.

I can’t wait for your voice,

Your laughter and words,

How you asked me “how am I,”

The concern I was longing to reply.

Yet there were also doubts,

That hindered my smiles,

Did you miss me?

Do you also love me?

You called me because of our friendship,

Waiting for your love as a gift,

Hoping for it to be given,

Ever willing to show it in return.

Yet we’re just limited,

For your love is only for friends,

At least I experienced this kind of Bliss,

Despite it’s just a glimpse.

I heard you said,

Deep inside your head,

That you love me

Without definitions, unconditionally.

Thank you at last,

Yet I hope it will last,

For I never longed for it,

I never wished for it.

I love you more than you’ll ever know,

I love you more than every star that glows,

I love you more than the moon and sunshine,

I love you more than space and time.
